Ark, some times I have to work over night or other hours I am unaccustomed to. I have a tendency to smack my face repeatedly and rub my arms when I need to wake up. I'm not sure what looks worse.. the red blotchy smacked up face or the indented palms! Whatever works |

You and me both. I am so sick of them.
I just told DH about this whole conversation and he was LOL. He is famous for "put the purse down sally and get with it" |

| Hee. Figurative big-girl panties, good. Literal big-girl panties, not so much. |

You could just keep wearing the literal "little" girl panties and pretend they're thongs!
Of course, it's kind of difficult to pick yourself up by the britches if you can't find them...
...not a good visual, sorry.

Just was wandering around the forum and found this gem of a thread. Little stroll down memory lane. . .
I still want to check Amazon for the book Dayna mentioned.
It's started me thinking, though, what are the issues that make me forget my big girl panties?
Stress (obviously)
Pain
Medicine I take when I'm in pain (These two right here are the most consistent ones for me, I've noticed)
Boredom
Lack of focus -- living too much in the moment and forgetting my future
Anyhoo, really just wanted to bump this thread up in case it strikes a chord with anyone else, too.
(You know what would be fun? If the avitars and tickers DIDN'T update with the posts.) |

| Thanks Diana for bumping this thread. I ordered that book "life is hard food is easy" today. Hopefully that book will knock some sense into me. |
