Thanks Tony. Sometimes I wonder if I should post the recipe's on here because they aren't always 100% the way it should be. I do post the ones that I think help people stick with the program because the food tastes good and is "okay" with the program.
Dayna did give me the inspiration for the chicken strips, I just added the parmesan crust recipe.
Check out my other recipe.... Zucchini Pie |

I think I would really like that zucchini pie, but not sure that Tony would. BUT THEN again HE DIDN'T LIKE TURNIPS before Medifast either! hehehe...
I will make it and let you know what I think! |

Well, I know how much he love's cooked veggies... lol. They aren't my favorite either, but I like this stuff, its the spices and the cheese that help it out. I am sure it tastes better with the biscuits in the bottom for a bit of a bread crust, but hey, I am sure it will taste fine. Happy cooking.
I'm thinking of doing it on Monday..tomorrow we are out and about most of the day. |

I'd like to try this recipe with veggies like zucchini and fresh stringbeans. Maybe green tomatoes and eggplant, too. Viola! Lean & Green.
Oh, and I just looked up the nutrition on chicken thigh meat. The fat content is about 5% of the total caloric value. The lean beef (from the same online source) is anywhere from 2.5% to 15% (yes, proported lean cuts). Chicken breasts, however, weigh in at 2%. The trade off is that Mike can reliably keep thigh meat down. This isn't true for white meat. Consequently, it's a reasonable trade for our household. |

| Di, I think that anything with a 5% fat content should be eating everyday! lol...good research, I'm glad to know that. Does the same go for Turkey you think? |

Turkey seems to weigh in at about 3% according to the site (calorie-count dot com)
That's an average, though, for the whole turkey. I wouldn't be surprised to find the numbers about equal to chicken. (I just looked up the whole turkey, not the different cuts.) |

Well, I don't always go back and see if someone else has one on here either. Who knows what is posted on page 1? I'm thinking I want these again though. I like the cayenne pepper idea (reminds me of KFC extra crispy).
