Hey Y'all - I just had one of these shakes (Chocolate) and I loved it! Tastes a little different that the 55. With my Uncle Arthur around, I thought I'd try these to see if they help.
Oh - and the Chicken Noodle Soup is good, too!
This is going to be alot easier with the variety than the 1st week with just shakes and bars.
Thanks everybody for your encouragement!
Doc says it's nerves/neck/arthritis that may be causing the vertigo. But just to be sure I'm going to the ENT on Monday.
Feeling great today!

Hi Joy,
SO GLAD you're getting to try a bunch of things! This program is so much better with some variety!

Well, looking at the date, its been almost a year since any posts in this thread... so I thought I would.
The Jopint Shakes are on sale thiis month, and anyone who is feeling those joint creaks and pains might want to try some and see if they help.
We are ordering a case as we are starting to feel the effects of years of being overweight beginning to take their toll. Although we are much healthier now, and our weight is WAY down, the damage seems to be done and we are going to add these shakes into our program to see if they make a difference... as I know they will.
Happy Shakin'

Well, Di uses them alot more than I do (which is rare), but I really need to. She hasn't been complaining of any pain.
I do know that Unca was in a bad way before he started using them (3 a day) and he seems to be doing great now. They definitely work.... I just need to do them instead of RTD's. My left knee does remind me from time to time.
When I was 15 I was a paperboy and was hit by an idiot on a motorcycle (nothing against motorcyclists... this guy was just an idiot in general).
Anyhow, it caused me to pull the ligaments in my left ankle and sprained my left knee.... its never really been the same.
So... long story short (too late i know), I need to start using these shakes. I prefer vanilla with some SF caramel or English Toffee in it.

So I have a question. I have an old injured knee that doesn't really bother me unless I have been running or weather changes. Would the joint health shakes be a good option for me, or am I too young to benefit? (I am 22)
Thanks |

Actually Biki, that isn't quite, 100% correct. Although they work great for folks with regular old arthritis due to aging or other situations, The Joint Health shakes can also help folks with injuries as well. This is taken directly from the FAQ's.
Who should use Medifast Plus for Joint Health?
Medifast Plus for Joint Health is recommended for individuals over the age of eighteen who suffer with painful joints due to arthritis and/or injury.
So, its for both old geezers like Unca, and younger geezers like me, and folks who have had injuries.

Mike thanks for the info. I might try them, not for sure yet since it is only occassional. I avoid running at all costs. Elliptical trainer for the win.
And Biki, I thought it was funny, but it all depends on who reads it. I call dh a old man too. |
