| for diabetics? I am on the diabetics supplements. However, I do have to admit, for the first two days, I did not really eat a FULL lean and green meal. I did not trust myself with food. I did have bouillon, sf jello, celery, fat free bologna, 1 radish one day and only asparagus, celery and bouillon in addition to supplements the first day. I lost 9 pounds. The third day, I actually followed directions and ate a small chicken breast and a salad along with 5 supplements. I woke up this morning (day 4) and had lost no weight. I was not really discouraged. 9 pounds is 9 pounds! However, I would prefer to be on the full fast. I go to the doctor tomorrow. Should I ask her about the full fast? Or is it already proven through some experiments that is is bad for diabetics? Please let me know if you can shed some light on this! |

Whoa!
Don't mess with the Take Shape protocols...diabetics need additional protein and calories. When it comes to your health, it is important to follow the Program exactly right.
BTW, bologna is not what I would consider to be a great choice for lean meat. Even though you mentioned it was fat free, it seems to me as if a 5 ounce serving of real chicken, real beef, real fish would be a better choice for your protein serving. |
