MF has a 12-week walking program in their book - I think I've seen it somewhere else, too. Maybe it was posted here somewhere? It takes you from total beginner to a little bit more than that. icon_mrgreen.gif It's a start, though, and it's most likely what I'm going to use once I get the go-ahead from the doctor to exercise after my appointment tomorrow (OB postpartum visit). Let me know if you're interested, I'll type it out on here for you and anybody else who wants it.

Well, I'm sure I've seen a 12-week walking plan somewhere, but the one in the book I have turns out to only be 9 weeks, with a recommendation for maintenance. And it doesn't specifically say walking, but just any kind of exercise. But here it is:

Week 1 - 20 minutes, 3 times a week
2 - 25 minutes x 3
3 - 30 minutes x 3
4 - 30 minutes x 4
5 - 35 minutes x 4
6 - 40 minutes x 4
7 - 40 minutes x 5
8 - 45 minutes x 5
9 - 45 to 60 minutes x 5
Maintenance - 30 to 60 minutes, 3 to 5 days a week

Hello there,
It has been forever since I have posted but I have been lurking in the background.

While on MF I learned to love exercise. I never thought that I would say that, but there it is. The real kick for me was finding something that I liked to do. I HATE running, but found that I love to play games or swim.

Maybe all you need is to find the right activity. Rebounding is awesome and is not too hard on the joints. It is alot of work and really fun. When I started, I could only jump for less than 5 min before dying from the lack of oxygen, but I looked forward to my jump session every day.

You can do it!!!!
