Well, I crashed and burned on the 100-day challenge, but I will DEFINITELY give a 50-day a try!

I too struggled with the 100 day challenge, but do feel 50 days is easier to swallow, and doesn't seem so long...

Here's to our mutual successes !!!!!

Seems like I am doing well just to get through the first few days. icon_rolleyes.gif I'm going to try a 7 day challenge. One shake at time, Bren, one shake at a time...

How long was Tom Hanks on that island, Wilson? We should see if we can find out and do something based on that...

I don't know if I technically screwed up or not cause I kinda didn't eat anything today at all. Well, one sip of a shake. But, I tasted it for an awful hour!!

I had the day planned out well enough. Then, the cherry-pomegranate AKA Children's Robitussin happened. I ended up getting to work, summer IEP meetings, in enough time to chat and print up paper work. Then, a girl had to go to the judge tomorrow and I promised her I would have her report ready, so I skipped out on a lunch/ice cream cake thing with the office people and typed for hours straight so it would be ready when she came back exactly 118 minutes later. No biggie on the party thing; they have so many celebration things that it gets dumb and I wasn't hungry, so I ignored their pleas. They are used to me overworking.

Then, afternoon meetings, then the ride home, then to get a new phone with the genius Alltel lady who swore she was once an accountant.

I swear it took her almost 5 tries to type in my address...all 5 numbers and those 2 huge words that it encompasses (one was DRIVE). Knowing that AZ is short for Arizona, I silently prayed that she knew all 26 letters of the alphabet, as she would need all to know an A and a Z. I assume her prior company filed for bankruptcy with her at the computer helm.

Then, stuff happened and it was 9 by the time I got home. I made pasta salad for a thing tomorrow night and I just lost track of time and never ate. I have been drinking 32 oz. bottles of ice water all day, but that tasted good.

OK, so tomorrow is my day 1 OK? I will be a day behind. Today wasn't intentional. I was just busy. I can't imagine always being too busy to stop and eat.

Sidrah...
Sounds good...Take it one day at a time !

Rodeo (Brenda) I am going to check on the movie with Tom Hanks...Maybe he looked so ematiated because it was the tropical beach location !!! That's it !! We all need to be on a tropical beach with our Medigrub !! I can feel it now, swaying in my hammock, cool breezes blowing...NO TEMPTATIONS !!!

That's it really...We are all surrounded by temptations... I am tempted to eat, when my DH is being let's just say "moody"... I can become so aggravated by him, that food has always been my quick relief...Now, I walk away and get busy with cleaning or take a walk, or get out of the house and walk the mall... Getting away from the desire to cram something down my throat, just because someone else is cranky is NO EXCUSE TO EAT !!

Here we go ...We will reset our calendars for tommorow as Day 1...No going back this time !!

Good Luck and Be true to Yourselves !!! You deserve it ! icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif

If you are going to reach your maximum weight loss potential, first and foremost you MUST get in all 5 supplements EVERYday, no exceptions. In addition, you should always have a measured lean and green using items allowed in the Quick Start Guide. You are only cheating yourself (your body) by not getting in all the supplements. Not only does your body need the calories, it also needs the balanced nutrition of that 5th supplement. Many people think that cutting out a MF meal or going small with the lean and green will help them lose faster when, in fact, the opposite is true.

I sent you a PM! You should have received a Quick Start Guide (QSG) with your first order. That book has everything you need to get you started on the right path to a healthier you. A basic day should look something like...

8am (or within one hour of waking) - MF supplement of your choice
11am (or withing 2 1/2 to 3 hours after the first one) - MF supplement of your choice
2pm (" ") - MF supplement of your choice
5pm (" ") - L & G for example - 6 ounces of grilled chicken breast with 2 cups spring greens, low fat dressing, 1/2 cup broccoli (this is where the QSG comes in VERY handy for portions and allowances!)
8pm - MF supplement of your choice
11pm - MF supplement of your choice

Obviously, you will need to adjust the times to fit your schedual. but that is a basic plan anyway.
