So here I am 35 years old, I have been married almost 10 years, I have two children, ages 3 ( today is Desiree's birthday!) and 14 months.
Tomorrow is my BIG DAY. I will be starting MF to get some of this weight off and feel better. It's time to take care of ME. For the past 3 years it's been about taking care of the kiddo's. Although that never ends, I have to show them that I can take care of myself also.
So here's to tomorrow!

With 3 kids of my own, I know just what you are talking about. It is time for us to starting taking care of ourselves and when we do that, we will be better moms because of it!!

Thanks guys!
So here is day one, I already have a headache...
Had some friends over and their kids last night for dinner, for Desiree's bday, so we ate, drank and of course ate some more!
But my mind is in this. Got my food yesterday and the book and was reading how one lady lost 160 pounds in 10 months. I know my husband did that a couple of years ago but I had no idea a woman could achieve that! wow.
I feel encouraged today! I'm off to get ready for work, I have a long day ahead of me. |

Hey, Sharon. I hope your headache eases up SOON!! Mike and I are praying for you. THIS is YOUR YEAR!
And, yeppers, women can do that, too. But don't get discouraged if, like me, you don't. Dayna told me from the beginning that I'm a "slow loser," but I also know I've compounded that in the last year and a half through self-created sabotage.
So, what tastes good today? I'll have to pick up some pickled stringbeans for you.
Hugs!!! And a toast to your success!! |

Aww thanks Di!
I had a great day actually.
However...I did blow it....
LOL
Okay I'm teasing, I thought I had all the suppliments I needed today and now it's 10 and I am going to bed and I realize I only had 4 supplements. Oh well!
My headache went away after I took some Advil, so like was good.
So here's to day two! |

Hey, Sharon!
How's it goin' so far? I had awful headaches for the first whole week. I'm so glad ibuprofen knocked it out for you! Of course, I was super-addicted to caffeine - I only drank sweet tea and Coke 'til I joined the program, so giving those up at the same time as food ... well, let's just say my poor hubby just hid from me for a week. It was rough. Now I never drink sweet tea or Coke. Seems like forever ago.
Sometimes I forget a supplement at the end of the day, too. But somehow, I never seem to miss that L&G. |

Thanks Stacey! Yeah, I was just telling Diana that I am surprised I have not had headaches (except yesterday morning, and umm that was not from medifast...lol) or craving since I started. But believe me I had everything I wanted in the past week or so. lol
So things are going good!
I can't imagine you cutting all that out and changing your diet so much! I bet you were a little bear. hehe I just gotta have that one cup of coffee in the morning and then I am fine caffeine wise for the rest of the day.
Thanks for stopping by my journal! |

I still get that way occasionally. Although usually I tend to obsess about one food in particular. Ugh. Glad you're doing better, though.
I think the first step is recognizing it for what it is, and THINKING about it before you just start scarfing down food. |
