Log In Required?

What's the situation with having Log-In required today? No more surfing?

Not sure what you mean Lauren. Everything's fine on my end. Did you delete your cookies by chance?

I always delete my cookies, but it's never affected this site. Basically, if I want to roam around the different forum areas, I am required to log in. So, if I click on Journal, the log in screen bumps up. This started this morning on my home computer, and is happening here on my work one as well...

I tried it and it all works okay for me when I logged out.

Checked your log-in status and it shows okay, so Unca will have to check on that. Maybe its a cache or cookie thing like Jo said. I dunno

Hey - its not a bad idea! Wouldn't it cut down on porn posts and guesting posts if a login was required?

Ha. That's a good pic! Yep, an exorcism is definitely in order - I came home and still the issue of needing to log in in order to read the journals is happening. It's not fair! I want to be the Silent Lurker! I want to post messages as GUEST and tell everyone how unhappy I am with the support here! C'mon!! :-) Just kidding about that last part, for anyone who doesn't have a sense of humor!

I did notice that the forum asks for a login each time I log in from work. I am used to always being logged in at home, and sometimes I will try to read a thread at work and it won't let me read without logging in.

Ha. I just realized how funny that would actually be. Can you imagine if I was that Guest? Sorry, I just don't even have a journal for fear of commitment or something, so it would be really amusing if I was really bumming for the lack of support....
