In case you didn’t see my post in the Maintenance webroom, http://www.makemethinner.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=149087#149087 here’s a little update.

Following surgery Monday, January 7th, Lauren stayed in what she calls a “Hos-pi-tel” – a medical hotel with 24-hour nursing staff.

Lauren describes herself as having a high pain tolerance; during the first 48 hours post-surgery, she experienced ‘significant discomfort’ and reiterated that she’d describe it ‘more as discomfort more than pain.’

She came home Wednesday and her family is attending to her needs.

When asked how she is doing, she replied,

“I’m doing fantastic!” yay.gif

She wanted me to tell you that even though she can’t kool.gif see anything yet due to the wraps, the surgery was definitely worth the discomfort. kool2.gif

Primarily she is lying around snooze.gif resting; she sends her icon_hug.gif love, and will typing.gif post soon when her movement is not so limited.
