Good Morning !
Well the 'whoosh" happened and I have lost another 3.5 pounds today ! (Do I mark my ticker or wait until next Sundays roll call?) I am so thrilled and can't wait for more to come off ! Is it too early to start excercising??? I thought of taking a 20 minute walk this morning....

Changing your ticker is a matter of personal choice. My weight often fluctuates during the week so I just change it on Sundays. Congrats on the loss! If you haven't been exercising before you started Medifast it is suggested that you wait three weeks before beginning an exercise program and that you start rather gently. If you have already been exercising it is suggested that you cut down your normal amout to about half of what you were doing and work up to your former amount. That being said, a light stroll probably wouldn't do much harm but it could turn into pushing yourself too much. I would follow Medifast's advice. By the way, all of this information is in the Quickstart Guide that can be found here and that you should have received in your first order. I would recommend reading it.

Hi Kate,
Your picture with you and your daughter is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
From my own experience, I would wait to exercise. The lower caloric intake is a bit of a shock on the body. You may feel terrific but I personally would wait.
I would take Biki's advice and read the info regarding this.
Take care

Loved seeing the photo of you and your daughter. Congratulations on your loss, too!
You might want to ask Unca to consolidate all of the journals you've begun into one *Katesmom*. We each start one journal and then just update it as often as we wish to keep track of our journey here. You'll keep it updated and we'll be visiting you in it.
Congratulations again on having such a great start on the Medifast program!!! |

Good Morning All !
I am so happy this morning...After my "slip" at Wendy's yesterday I thought the scale would go up but it didn't !!
I am actually down a total of 7 lbs today !! I will just drink water like crazy today and hope I can flush my body out...
Unca is trying to help me with My Journal so please be patient with me !
Have a great 'losing" day ! |
