Thanks Marilu !
I am hoping for big losses too!

Just got back from the park with my daughter and took a walk twice around a pond with a walking path...Very invigorating !

More later !

Hi,

I PM'd you.

I think using your journal sometimes several times a day can be very helpful to doing well on the plan...it is so much more like having a buddy rather than going it alone.

regards,

Hi Everybody...
Having a great day today and feel really focused...Ya know, I think the closer I get to going back to work (on Monday)I actually feel better and more in control of my day, because it is so structured ! I have been 100% compliant and feel good...

I ran some errands although I almost lost it at my daughter in Target because she just "wanted" a certain something and I said "no"...Well you would have thought I cut her arm off ! She cried and had a tantrum that came from no-where...So I put down the items that I had, held her hand and left the store...

After taking many deep breaths...I told her she needed to understand that just because she wants something doesn't mean you get it immediately !

I thought about weight loss then, and how much we all want it so badly at that moment, but just can't have it all at once !

How True, eh????

Anyway, thanks for stopping by !

KM,
You did the right thing. My son does the same thing to me. I can not even go into a plant store with out him asking oh can I have that. I usually say sorry I do not have any money. Then he will say oh put it on a credit card. I will then say I do not have my cards. Then he will come around and say write a check. Where does he learn this. My dh have tried to sit down and talk to him about being responsible, and if he does his chores he will get an allowance. Well that lasted all of 2 hours, he cleaned his room and then asked for $100.00 icon_eek.gif I just walked away at that point.

Good Morning...
Today I got up and had a shake within 30 minutes of waking...But now feel starving !! Iguess it's time for lots of water... Can weather affect your hunger ?

Anyway, I will be busy with my daughter in our pool...It is supposed to be very HOT and HUMID today in Ct.

Had a good day yesterday and want to try a 6-0 day today....Can you go from 5-1 to a 6-0 easily????

I know you're thinking, Pam...easily??? That word doesn't belong in this forum !!

Have a great day !

Hehe, I told my son I didn't have any money once and he suggested I go to the bank and buy some. icon_mrgreen.gif

Hi Pam,
I just got around to reading some journals.
You must know that most of us have had the exact same feelings, The great thing is, if you keep on this program in a month you will feel great. In 2 you will be super, and by Christmas you will feel like a million bucks.
Glad you are here dear.

Well today I am down a total of 8.3 pounds for the week...I was hoping to reach the 10# club but I won't be picky...I think I would have lost more weight if I had not had the visit to Wendy's and drank more water...

I am feeling optimistic about the day...It is still very hot and humid here in Connecticut, so it may be another pool day...

Went to see a movie last night called Nanny Diaries...Cute and light...

I was glad to have my medifast shake and some soy crisps with me...Movie eating has always been a trigger for me...

Today is the last full day off until the end of the next school year...

Have a nice day all...

Hi Pam!

Just wanted to stop in and say congrats on your 8.3 lbs. I've been really busy the past few days and haven't had time to post but I was so happy so see you here this morning and hearing that you are doing so well.

You are right about having more water when you feel hungry. Sometimes tea, crystal light or diet soda helps get me through. I normally only drink water so having one of those when I think I'm starving makes me feel like I'm having a treat. The biggest help is keeping your mind occupied.

Good luck going back to work tomorrow. I'm with you on the structure. It can be helpful. Just remember to take a little time out for you to enjoy your shakes on time. If you find time slipping away from you at work you may want to get yourself a timer to help stay on track. I use one every day...even weekends!

Have a great day! So happy for you!

Weight off in 8 months...HELL YEAH!!!! I think we can totally do it. I plan on doing a lot of weight training along the way as muscle burns more calories, and carb cycling down the road if necessary to keep my metabolism on its toes.

Congrats on your 8 pound weight loss!!!! If that's not motivation I don't know what is. icon_mrgreen.gif
