| Finished day 5 amid a lot of stress and anger and frustration. I just wanted to storm up to bed but I still needed another supplement - thank God for RTDs, grab and flee. I'm still mad but at least it's not at myself. |

OK, I think we should have our own 100-day compliance challenge roll call. Not necessarily weight, but just so we can keep track of who all is on board with us. Since we're 'stickified' on the board, I would think that even if you have an 'oops' moment you could start right up again on day 1 and try to make 100 again. Right? And when we finish this 100 days, we can start over with another 100 days.
Well, anyway - after 7 days of compliance I lost 5.2 pounds and am within spitting distance of the 60# club. Very excited to see what the next installment will bring! |

| Today is day 4 for me and I am down 4.5 pounds. Wish this headache would go away but otherwise things are great and I feel very positive. |

Congratulations Biki on the 4.5 lb. loss! That's great! Oh, and on being compliant. |

I cheated this weekend . I hate that I did it but darn it was hard doing all the preparing of the food by myself. I had a few french fries on Friday, a few bites of chips and dips Saturday night and a PB&J yesterday. It wasn't terribly bad but the fact still remains that I cheated. Oh, well, I'm back on track today. Anyway, guess I'm out of the original 100 day challenge. |

I agree. Start over. It's just a few days behind. It is only day 5 for me and being a little behind hasn't hurt a bit! |

Hi All,
OK, I have a question/comment. I know this is supposed to be 100 days "cheat free", but people are bound to have some bumps in the road. To have to start all over when one of those bumps comes along seems like this could be an unattainable goal (or at least feel unattainable) for many and create some real disappointment. There is already enough self criticism when one falters. I hate to add to it by saying "now you go back to square one and try get it right this time"! Wouldn't it be better to say the 100 days is up on such n such day and let people stay in and keep clocking their days? I saw this more as a way to get extra incentive, be more accountable and aim higher than I may have on my own. Plus being able to join a group of like minded people on the same path is so empowering.
Personally, I have stopped trying to achieve perfection in my life. For me, it seems to have only lead to added stress and be a sure fire path to heartache, but that is just me. That doesn't mean I don't do the absolute best I can and push myself to always be better.
Don't get me wrong, I love this challenge. I just want everyone to be able to feel like winners and push themselves a little more without worrying about getting knocked back.
This is just my humble opinion and was wondering if anyone else had thoughts on this?

My personal goal with the 100 days is to actually get through them without a stumble at all, because I've spent more time falling down than making progress lately. But I for one won't shun anyone who's trying to improve themselves here. Maybe we can work like a fraction system - in this 100 days, I was compliant for 67 of them - next time I want to be compliant for 80 of them - something like that?
I say to you all, do what keeps you motivated. I'm going for 100 straight days of compliance personally. Do what you feel comfortable with.
Or maybe others might feel that the 100-day challenge is not the place for everyone, that you should only come on board if you're willing to commit to 100 days of compliance come hell or high water? I don't know. I don't want to be exclusive but I also don't want to lessen the challenge. Thoughts from others? |
