I thought this might help some newbies, as well as benefit the rest of us!

I could never do MF without:

1. My awesome Hamilton Beach Single-Serve Blender
It makes perfect shakes and is small enough for me to use at work.

2. My scale

3. My cool measuring cups and spoons
It's amazing what 1 tbsp and 1 cup really look like! You can't judge by eyeing it.

4. SmartWater!
I drink this all day long!

I love my food processor for making my morning Cafe Vanilla a la Biki, measuring spoons, my food scale, my little pad where I jot down my meal times and FITDAY is a lifesaver for me. I log every pound and every morsel. Makes me feel on top of things. Oh, and let's not forget the real friggin' scale. Humph. icon_mad.gif

I have one of those Hamilton Beach blenders at work. It's great! I also have a Hot Shot at my desk. I can have hot water for tea in about 30 seconds. But the one thing I can't live without is my MF shaker.

I left that out! I use my shaker for everything, even my soups so they are well blended with the water before I microwave.

Well, aside from the MediFoods, these are indispensible (not all qualify as "tools" but hey):

1. Magic Bullet blender -- I have one at home and bought one for work!
2. SteviaPlus sweetener (it has inulin fiber added)
3. FiberSure fiber powder
4. Celestial Seasonings herbal teas
5. Adagio Teas "anteadote" jasmine iced tea (if anyone wants a $5.00 gift certificate, drop me your email)
6. BlenderBottle that I got from HSN
7. Crystal Lite to-go packs!

My camera -- Mike and I try to take pictures every month. It's a real motivator in those times we look in the mirror and think nothing's changing.

My telephone -- to call my MediBuds and participate in the Nurse's Call on Monday nights (646) 519-5860 PIN 0971# 5:30 Pacific -- great way to get inspired for the week. It's also great to hear the voices of folks we know on the line, like Nancy and bdg. (Even if we don't participate in the Roll Call, Mike and I are usually there.)

Mini, portable handmixer -- prohealth dot com, search for "handmixer" It's $4.99 plus shipping.
